Reindeer card

How do you like my little reindeer? I made him with my cricut as well as the background circles. I think he is just the cutest little guy. I used my cuttlebug folders (snowflakes and dots).
Entering this card into a card challenge over at Cuttlebug for National card day Saturday. This will be sent to a friend of mine. I have made a few more cards today. It takes a few days to have all the elements ready to make the card. Have a super Friday!

Sew time...

I decided after looking at a wonderful blog I follow to enter this layout that I themed around their challenge. *Sewing* So off to my gypsy/cricut.
Fantabulous Cricut is the blog. Also entering it into the challenge over at Frosted Designs. Which calls for peach and cream and ribbon or shiny.I used my cricut for the cuts...loving my new cartridge still Country life. Also used one of my books for some of the elements. My picture is an older one. I am soooooooo happy to finally use these photos that I have in the past. Now I need to develope the past two years to get caught up. I tell you...digital is actually harder to keep up with. I take so many and put them on USB cards and then it takes for ever to develope. Shame on me...I know. :(
I actually added some rick rack too. Some stickles to the machine. Lots of inking throughout for the aged look. Let me know what you think of the layout. Love to hear your comments.

On our way to my sons football game tonight and the sky was sooooooooooo beautiful. I just had to take a quick shot of it. Atleast the middle school team is great...they won 65-6. They are the undefeated team...So go Cougars!
Now, if we could get a win for the high school this year. LOL
We have a bye week.

Well this weekend we are going on an adventure to a place called Horse hole. It has to do with trucks and mud and racing. Should be quite interesting. I am sure my boys will enjoy every minute of it.
Will be taking pictures of that too.
Have a great day!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

First here is a layout I made with my son Colten and his Aunt Julie.
She was a Tennesse fan and he was a Florida Gator fan...yep~like his mom.
Well we won! So had to make a layout....it really did get a bit to busy as I started with a blank white 12x12. Just was not getting to happy with it. Would have liked to have stamped the footballs first but unfortunately I put the page together first and did not like it.
Oh well....can't change it. So going to keep it. LOL
Here is a picture of my brother in law and sister in law. I used my new cartridge for cricut country life. I am so loving it. I actually made her face...It turned out~woot hoo! Love piecing outfits together. I used a button with my huge flowers.
This one is of my hubby from a couple of years ago. His different looks at different times of the year. I loved making the banner with my cricut and my country fella on the bottom from my new cartridge as well.

I decided to make a lemonade card. I designed it on my gypsy...love the welding part.
Made ice cubes and lemon and used the cuttlebug for texture.
Added the sentiment too...a neat cut from my cricut.
Sorry the picture is not too clear. Gotta love my camera~not. haha

I hope everyone has a wonderful week.
We had a very nice weekednd. Bowling yesterday for my birthday boy. Austen is now 15. Wow~time is flying.
We lost of football game...so sad :(
No wins yet!

I designed it with the challenge going on over at Fantabulous Cricut in mind. Which is in my garden harvest time. Then fall theme over at Sugar Sweet paper treats.Used my cricut cartridges for the card and words and pumpkin.

I have a couple of more layouts for Christmas that I will post tomorrow. I love sewing on the paper and doctoring up the images with gel pens, sewing, glitter and inks...everyone is different.
In my stash I have sports themed 12x12 papers. So they are getting some use now. I am on a role with this. I just ordered me a cool cartridge..called create a critter.

I hope you like the details. Enjoy your weekend. I know we will here. My baby Colten turns 8 on Saturday...so it is his day. Then 9 days later my son Austen turns 15 and is off for his restricted license. Wow~time sure does fly by. I have lots to do tomorrow so no crafting for me.

But none the less I am enjoying the ones I do have.

Used stickles glitter to highlight linebacker though my son is a lineman. Also those are his school colors... Sorry for the shine as I already have it in a protective sleeve.

I have been having such a great time with my cricut lately. Using my Wild West and Give a Hoot cartridges. Lots of inking and outlining...even used the cuttlebug.

Trying to use a bunch of pictures from the past. I have soooooooo many!

It was a nice lazy weekend. Rob even took the boys to the bowling alley so
I could have some mommy time (alone). Sometimes you just need that ~though
I did all the laundry sorting, folding and putting away that is.
