Going Victorian...

Here is a wall hanging that I am working on. I now need to find a frame so please ignore the tack I used in the middle to hang it for a picture.
I used my MS punch for the outline. I made my bows and flowers and some lace. I added some bling. Debating on putting a banner with a sentiment on it. Slow on the crafts this weekend as we are doing alot of family stuff. It has been wonderful had family down from Canada and met some more relatives on my hubby's side. Entered into challenge:

Just thinking.......a postcard!

Here is a sweet image from *Beary Dust* from One Stitch at a Time's digi-stamp store. You can find that on my left sidebar. This one is called "Thinking".
For the challenge over at One Stitch at a Time we had to use something new.
Well this post card is brand new. I picked up some extras while buying some to send to friends. So~ I thought why not use it as a scene. I added some flip flops also and popped her out with 3d. I am so excited about this postcard.
So please join in this week over at OSAAAT and use something new that you bought.

Check out my new shoe and pretty candle

I have some wonderful new projects that I made.
Here is a candle that I used the stamping technique on. I just love this Belle's & Whistle stamp.
I decided I did not want to burn it and wanted to put it in something pretty.
So that is where my shoe came in.
I found this lovely template over at http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/ made by Terri. I made the flower by piecing it together and using lace as trim. I finished the inside of the shoe and outside with yarn and decorative tape. I added one new little bling (the crystal chandlier) hanging down.
I am entering this into Belle's and Whistles first challenge. Pieced the flower together (hopefully that works as handmade). Also for anything but a card challenge over at http://theresmagicintheair.blogspot.com/2010/05/magical-monday-anything-but-card.html
I am so glad that I found this tutorial 2 days ago. Terri came up with this back in January...she is one mighty talented lady. I was surprised to never have seen these since I started. They make such wonderful gifts too. My next pair will have the heels as I have an idea for those other then what she mentioned. I have been on the search for something else on here and yet to find it. So I think I will have to make up my own. Hmmmmmmmmmm...should be interesting. So happy crafting can't wait to see what others come up with today I have seen two and they are just lovely.

Also showcasing it at the Boardwalk Bragfest...found here. Also please check out http://www.bystephanielynn.com/2010/05/sunday-showcase-party-wcraft-girls.html. I have linked my project up and they have a wonderful giveaway for those that love sewing like me.

Black/White/Grey....something different for me.

I have stepped out of the usual box....and I like it!
Look at the lovely Susan's (Crafty Chaos Papers) over at Stitchy Stamps. I used her black and white set...Sorry the bottom photo is a little out of whack. I used 3d foam to risew up the layers and then added a sentiment computer generated. Two images from GF.

Entered it into challenges:
Black and Grey and one other color which I chose White. http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/
Then I did two images over at Anyone for Anya?
also Black and White and one other color. Which is grey. http://magicalcraftsfortnightlychallenge.blogspot.com/

Bumblebrella....new challenge site~take a lookhttp://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/

Here is a card that I am entering into a new Challenge site...First sketch for http://peartreedesigns.blogspot.com/. I used Bumblebrella from Stitchy Bear stamps
Artist is Stitchy. It was such a fun image to ink up. I used yellow chalk on the outline to blend with the card more and inked the edges of it as well. Went floral on this one and used the brella part to block off the dew drops that are above falling. Smiles...Tammy

Something new for me....

Here is a little something that I made. I wanted to try something new. So I had this old candle and wanted to try the stamping image thing on it. I can't believe it worked. Now I will be able to perfect it on the next one. Really didn't know what I was doing as I did not watch any youtube video just seen a photo with a brief description of what to do. It worked but could be better. I added stickles glitter on the wings. I made the little gift card to go with it. I colored the image 3 times with my MS pencils and decoupaged it.
I am feeling much better....thanks for the kind words.
I appreciate everyone of my followers....can't believe I am almost at 100....that makes me *smile*. I love finding new blogs and visiting my regular blogs. You can not believe what inspiration I get from seeing all your lovely creations. So please keep it coming. I will try to do the same on my side.
I am off to do some coloring as the boys are going to watch Iron man.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend. Hope to see you soon...your blog or mine.

It's the weekend....Yipee!

I am so happy today is Friday.....I have been a little down these past few days and really didn't know why....then came the headaches....then came the full blown cold. That answers it! Didn't do a lot of smiling especially watching my shows Private Practice and Greys Anatomy season finales....Bucket of tears...Boy you can tell I am sick...I cried like a baby. LOL~now. haha.

So...on a happier note...My son has a football game tonight at the High school...It is a red and gold game which is a school colors game. Should be a blast...Next week we have a Varsity spring game over at another school....We will see how we do as we have a new coach this year and new athletic director. I like them both so far so hopefully it won't be too bad. We usually have a great team but they just built a new High school so alot of kids are moving as well as the teachers. No worries here as I will have two boys in high school this year. WOW...hard to say that one. To think my oldest will be a senior. Do you think I can undo his skipping a grade to make him stay longer. Haha....
My 2nd oldest starts basketball games for the summer next week. I am so happy that he has found a sport that he loves and is doing so well in it. Next year my 3rd one will be playing football and my youngest is begging us to put him on a team this year....I have to think about that one...He is only 7 and it is a huge committment and alot of $...$150 just to join and then you have all the fundraisers, practice, volunteer time...I don't know if I can do it all with 4 kids in year. The following year would be much better as my oldest will be off at college and the other one will be driving.

Okay....here is my card that I made and it turned out so nice in browns...I used one of my new polly craft images (Sydney butterfly girl).
Cuttlebug, sewing,inking,sentiment,die cut,digi stamp,markers,flowers,bling,ribbon,my minds eye card, doily,cardstock
that about covers the materials.
