I have some wonderful new projects that I made.
Here is a candle that I used the stamping technique on. I just love this Belle's & Whistle stamp.
I decided I did not want to burn it and wanted to put it in something pretty.
So that is where my shoe came in.
I found this lovely template over at http://artfulaffirmations.blogspot.com/ made by Terri. I made the flower by piecing it together and using lace as trim. I finished the inside of the shoe and outside with yarn and decorative tape. I added one new little bling (the crystal chandlier) hanging down.
I am entering this into Belle's and Whistles first challenge. Pieced the flower together (hopefully that works as handmade). Also for anything but a card challenge over at http://theresmagicintheair.blogspot.com/2010/05/magical-monday-anything-but-card.html

I am so glad that I found this tutorial 2 days ago. Terri came up with this back in January...she is one mighty talented lady. I was surprised to never have seen these since I started. They make such wonderful gifts too. My next pair will have the heels as I have an idea for those other then what she mentioned. I have been on the search for something else on here and yet to find it. So I think I will have to make up my own. Hmmmmmmmmmm...should be interesting. So happy crafting can't wait to see what others come up with today I have seen two and they are just lovely. Also showcasing it at the Boardwalk Bragfest...found here. Also please check out http://www.bystephanielynn.com/2010/05/sunday-showcase-party-wcraft-girls.html. I have linked my project up and they have a wonderful giveaway for those that love sewing like me.

Hi Tammy!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see you follow my blog!
Just started scrapbooking so I'm not so good at it, but it's getting there...
I just put it up because scrapbooking started to overcloud my personal blog =0) Have a Christmasblog to, but I don't start it until after midsummer again.
I checked the tea bag holder out on youtube. There´s a whole lot of tutorials there. I like Dawn from the US. She writes out the meassurments
Here is a link to it

This is so pretty, but did you know you can have the best of both worlds? I have done this with a battery operated wax candle and it works just the same. Got my candle at Walmart for $5...tried one from hobby lobby, but that one didn't work as well, the wax seemed to melt much easier. If you like the melted look at all you can even add some dripppings by melting the top and lettting it run down a little at a time.
