My magazine publishing.

Hello everyone,
I know I may not post or blog browse much lately.  I have to say I have a lot going on with my self.  I was able to make a card for a magazine entry a couple of months ago.  I was blessed to be published in the upcoming July issue of Hobby Lobby's (Stamping, Stationary and Scrapbooking) magazine.  It is due to be in stores in July.  I'm the top right entry.  Kind of funny that the other three entries are from Ohio and I am Florida.  LOL.  Hope you have a wonderful week.  Be blessed :)

Tilda stamp card

I just had to order this wonderful Tilda stamp from Magnolious store.  She was fun to color and I also used the window stamp that I bought at the same time.  Isn't she cute holding a stamp herself.  Simple but yet the colors made it look eye catching...I think.  Have a great weekend.  Hugs...Tammy

Update...and Best dad card.

Happy Dad's day card.  I used my new Magnolia Edwin.  I love coloring on water marker paper.  Kind of simple as I don't last long in the craft room.

Wow time has flown by since I've been on my blog.  Life has been interesting for me to say the least.  I have had two surgeries both life altering after I found out my bladder stopped working from the bladder sling.
I now have a bladder pacemaker (interstim)...which in all honesty has been awesome to finally have the urge to go again.  They took out the sling and now I have been going through physical therapy for my pelvic area.  Let me tell you it is a rough road.  Wouldn't wish this on anyone.

My family is all doing great.  My oldest is in his last year of UF.  My next one is going to be a senior (boo hoo-ing already).  He is taking all his pre recs for RN school.  He can't wait to work with all the gals..so typical of him.  LOL   My third one is going into 10th grade.  Soon to be turning 15 and getting his permit.  He is already 6'1...going to be my giant like they predicted.  Though they all pass me up besides my 10 year old.  Which is creeping up on me fast.  I'm 5'7...lol   He is going into 5th grade at a new school.  Couldn't be more thrilled about the change of school.  Hubby is doing great working hard as always.
Well that is my update.  Going to post some cards I have made.  Hugs...Tammy

Dad's birthday card

Here is a card that I made with my mini Edwin stamp.  Also, I used my Whiff of Joy Church scene.  This was made for my Dad's upcoming birthday.   Masculine cards are always hard though I have to make many of them as I have full of males.  I added some stickles and my Whimsy stamps notables tag.  Smiles...Tammy
Doing lots of house projects and everything is coming along.  Two weeks from today I have my next surgery.  I sure hope to get feeling myself and that this weight gain goes away once I feel better and can exercise again.  Trying to not eat too much as I don't want the weight.  LOL...

A card

It is a beautiful day here in Sunny Florida.  I am enjoying it even though we are going through some house changes.  I am waiting for me and hubby's adjustable bed to get here.  Love the mattresses as they made it here first.  Got to love Amazon...easy shopping.  So lots of changes going on for the new beds.  The boys have been a great help with moving things everywhere.  Not easy when you can't lift over 5 lbs.  Which is really hard to do. Hint..
Now they are re-doing one of the bathroom showers.  Oh my what a project that will be.  Glad it does not involve me.  haha...I've already been doing more than I should.
I made this card a couple of days ago.
Not one of my favorites but I wanted to try out some new Die cuts I purchased from Magnolia site. http://www.magnoliastamps.us/  as well as the Magnolia stamp I received with my magazine I purchased.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend.  Enjoy your family and friend time.

It's a tag~girlie

Here is a sweet little Tilda that I have.  I made a little tag out of my quickutz die cut background.  Added flowers, brad, pearls, rhinestone, and ribbon.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I had my post op today.  They are going to remove the bladder sling.  They will do Botox while I'm under as a form of physical therapy.  Then three weeks after surgery I go to a pelvic floor physical therapist.  I am so pleased to be finally getting some where after 8  years of pain since they put the stupid sling in.  Unfortunately, I have the stomach flu which came on today. :(

Too my right you will see a Doubleclick aka Busybee link.  Click it and see her wonderful giveaway.  I would usually post a link but I'm only using my iPad mini and it does not have the open to copy and paste.  Carri is a wonderful card maker and sweet gal.  So check out her blog.

Cutie on a giftbag

It is a mighty beautiful day here in Florida.  I've had a little creating time since my surgery.  I have enjoyed coloring my stamps.  Then a couple of days ago I decided to put some creations together.  Hard to do when you can't sit for long.  Not enjoying all the pain and getting used to having a pacemaker in my rear. You feel it, let me tell you.
I used one of my sweet Magnolia stamps and my MS punches too.  Found the Boutique image on Pinterest.  I thought it would make a cute background image.  Used a rhinestone as the charm on the necklace.  Ribbon and lace for her to sit on. I thought it would look cute on a gift bag for a female.  Hope you like the end result.
Have a very blessed day.  Doctor appointment early in the morning to find out next step.

Purse re-do

Hello,
I have been busy re cooperating at home these past couple of weeks.  It is crazy being home bound for so long.  Today my hubby took to me out to breakfast.  It was great to be in the real world.  I go in Friday for post op and find out the next step in fixing me.

Here is a creation that is really easy to do.  If you have a purse and want to doll it up then this may be an idea for you.  I have this awesome Betsy Johnson purse that I received as a Christmas gift.  It actually came with a bow and a little crystal bead hanging on it.  Well they had the worst clasp on the purse so unfortunately it was lost during our Christmas vacation.  So it took me a while to finally do something about it.  I made this adorable tulle bow with some wire to attach.  Hanging from it is a "singer sewing machine pewter charm".  I think it makes the purse stand out.

Hope you like my creation.  Enjoy your weekend.

Victorian box gift for my sister out of paper

Entered into challenge over at Http://papercraftingjourney.blogspot.com I made this box from paper for my sister's birthday.  I enjoyed dolling it up with flowers and Whimsy stamp notables die and stamp set.  Added some lace and filled it with smell good candles.  I think it looks mighty adorable and Victorian.  Lots of distress inking.

I have had my surgeries they ended up doing them both on the same day.  I am still mighty sore and hurting from Monday.  Atleast, I am on the road to recovery and they are going to continue to help me.  Which means probably another surgery to remove the sling.  I believe this pacemaker is actually making my bladder work.  Thank God..for a great Surgeon.  Enjoy your days and be blessed and thankful for them.  smiles...Tammy

Twins sweet sixteen boxes

Here are a couple of sweet sixteen gift boxes for my nieces.  They are doing a Oscar type of party.  So with the red carpet and silver glitter I feel like they will fit the picture.  I added some pictures of the girls and frames.  Hope they like them as I will put their goodies inside.  Pre-op took a long time got a lot of answers for the purpose of my upcoming surgery.  Praying big time that it works because the alternative is not so good.  All I can say is not to ever ever ever get a bladder sling.  I am 44 now had it put in 8 years ago and have had nothing but problems since the beginning and now it is really horrible.  Be blessed.  Smiles...Tammy

Birdie container

I'm making some goodie containers from scrapbook paper for Easter.  I tried to get some made early.  I love the "minds eye" papers from my stash.  I made this for my parents and will fill it with goodies.
Tomorrow is my pre-op appointment early morning.  Doing a lot of praying and having faith that all goes well with my upcoming surgeries.  Be blessed.  smiles...always, Tammy
