A FAMILY TRADITION....PASSED DOWN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION...NORWEGIAN COOKIES FATTIGMAN...YUM!
BLOG HOP GOING ON FROM MARCH 18-20TH
Do tell if you have ever made this cookies...would be neat to know.
I am participating in an INTERNATIONAL BLOG HOP... WE ARE TO MAKE A CREATION HAVING TO DO WITH HERITAGE OR FAMILY TRADITION...
SO I HAVE MADE A BROWN PAPER BAG CREATION. INSIDE THE BROWN PAPER BAG WOULD HOLD MY FAMILY TRADITIONAL COOKIES...FATTIGMAN COOKIES...NOTICE ON THE BAG THE INGREDIENTS WHICH YOU WOULD MAKE AND STORE IN BROWN PAPER BAGS...OF COURSE WHEN I MAKE THEM I USE THE LARGE SUPERMARKET TYPE. MY BOYS HAVE STARTED HELPING ME MAKE THESE...AUSTEN HAS ALWAYS HELPED BUT I WANT THEM ALL TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE THEM. IT IS A TIMELY PROCESS BUT THEY ARE SO YUMMY...SLIGHTLY SWEET.
THIS RECIPE HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THROUGH GENERATIONS ON MY MOM'S SIDE. WE HAVE A PORTION OF NORWEGIAN IN US. THESE COOKIES ARE MADE AT CHRISTMAS TIME EVERYYEAR BY ME...AND MY BOYS.
MY BAG WAS MADE WITH ANTIQUE RIBBON, STAMPED WITH A FAMILY TRADITIONS STAMP FROM FISKARS. ALSO COMPUTER GENERATED RECIPE...THAT I TYPED IN. I used ink for the aged look...also a cricut cut for the tag.

I have made these cookies once. They were not even close to the ones my mom used to make at Christmas. Just seeing the name of the cookies brought back some very good memories.
