LOOK AT THIS NEW PRIMA PAPER...LAYOUT

TELL ME THAT THIS PAPER IS NOT JUST GORGEOUS!

I USED TWO SHEETS OF PAPER FROM PRIMA. ONE OF THE PAGES MADE THE PICTURE MATTE AND CUT OUT ALL THE PAPER BUTTERFLIES...MINUS THE ANTENNAS. THEN USED THEIR E-FOR ECONOMIC BRAND FLOWERS AND THE PEARLS.

ADDED THE ANTENNAS TO THE BUTTERFLIES WITH MY MARKER. ADDED PEARL DROPS TO SOME OF THE FLOWERS. CHECK OUT THE PRETTY BUTTERFLIES OUT OF THE PEARLS. I SURE HAVE TO BUY MORE OF THESE TYPE OF SHEETS. MY PICTURE OF MY TWO OLDEST WAS PRINTED WITH SEPIA COLORING. IT FIT THE ANTIQUE LOOK.
FOLDED MY BUTTERLIES SO THAT THEY ARE FLYING. I AM GOING SHOPPING FOR A SCRAPBOOK SHADOW BOX SO I CAN HANG THIS IN MY LIVING ROOM. MY COLORS...

Nikki Silvis new line...of papers from CHA

Enjoying my down time with Charity Wings on the computer (live)at Cha this weekend. Though today they are having computer issues. So here are some make and takes I made with Nikki Silvis products yesterday.

I made mine this morning though. Here is my take on the card. I used embroidery thread in buttons. Cut out words,buttons,sentiments and added them to my card for Rob.

Here is his Valentine's day card from me.

I haven't filled it out yet though.

Just sharing some Presten news....

So neat they gave him a mini helmet and a players helmet. He received the Captains award and the Top Lineman award. He was known as the "pancaker". He laid them flat and then laid on top of them to keep them down. Pretty cool....

Now you will see why I have so many file expanding folders for him.

He not only is good looking but he is a sweetie and has such a wonderful spirit.

Proud parents. My hubby looks a little under the weather in this picture.

A proud mom here....excited for Presten's awards in football. They had me in tears when the coaches said a speech about him. I am blessed to have a well rounded young man. He is a true Christian, good morals, smarts, and athletic. God sure has blessed me with him and my other three boys. They have achieved many honors and I am looking forward to their rewards in the years to come.

He is truly a role model!

A card box with drawers..

Here is my newest creation...I wanted to use some paper that I have had...Puppy bones.

I really had fun making this. I just went on a creative kick and this is what I came up with. I used a new stamp that I bought about a month ago.

The sentiment is just perfect for anyone.
My mom gave me some of the unique paper twine stuff. It is really fun to work with.



I used my cricut to cut the drawers...also the paw prints. They are just too cute!!!
This is the finished look. Let me know what you think.
I am putting some valentines in it for the boys...that is why I made 4 drawers.
I used Mickey and Friends cartridge which I haven't used in quite awhile to make the paw. Entering it into Fantabulous Cricut challenge...

My little guy has been running pretty high fevers the past few days now...He caught his daddy's virus. :( I am really fighting this one with lysol and cleaning. I don't want the other boys to get it. Not fun!

Then today...I receive some really awesome news. I won a free CHA live ticket. I'm bursting at the seams with excitement. Thank you, Kristal.

Another happy note is that Presten made Student of the month again this time for the Elk's Lodge he receives a $25 gift card. Principle brunch tomorrow morning. How sweet is that.

We have senior night again with Wrestling tomorrow. Jaxten has his awards ceremony on Friday for straight A's. So much happening here. Austen has 2 more games this week and the season ends for basketball.

Problem..creation..exciting news

First, I will start off with my header on my blog....having a problem with making my new ones as they are always blurry. Come to find out after many hours of working on them that google is having a problem. So I am warning you not to change yours until they have this straightened out. :( I wanted to create a holder with a butterfly cut for Valentine's day. I used my hole puncher on glitter paper to make the circles. It turned out okay....

I used brads to attach a handle.

On to my exciting news....First "Thank you" to Sarah for my lovely award on her page. She is one of the sweetest ladies I know in blog land. So check out her blog when you get a chance.

TRYING TO KEEP THIS ON TOP.....

Black...white...grey Valentine's gift card holder

to use black, white and grey.

Here I have made a gift card holder for Valentine's day.

I put a twist on this by following a color challenge over at Crafting with Cristina.

Which was Then I combined it with another challenge over at Flaunt it Fridays. Which was to use the cut of skull. Mine was from Life's a beach cartridge. Gift card holder is from Tags,bags, and boxes. Hearts were from George and basic shapes.

I used my new stamp from Michaels craft store. Used some gel pens and my heart punch.

Valentine cake for Hubby

Each piece opening I am putting a "yummy" treat in it.I used Bo bunny papers...Cut the pieces from my Cricut/Gypsy.
Added all kinds of embellishments. Love my cupid cut from the Florish cartridge.


I wanted to keep it fastened together so I used a beautiful sheet of Bobunny DP on the bottom.

Birdie hanger...

I created this cute hanger for http://kandrewdesigns.blogspot.com/. She wanted to have a bird in it...a cricut cut preferred. So I added some lace,stickles glitter and gel pens and ink to dress it up a bit. Along with some pearls added to the eyes.

My Valentine hanger...

I made the heart 12x12. Used glitter gel pen for slashes...Used my flower punches and bling.

I had these cute heart brads and some pretty red and white dots ribbon.
I am happy to have a new decoration for my door. Let me know what you think.

A baby Crib...gift

My niece just found out she is having a girl. I had already started on making this crib~that is why the yellow(neutral).

This is completely my own design. I used my gypsy mostly...easy to maneuver.

I wanted to use swirls. My white paper is glitter paper. Love the shine from it!
Attached some wood wheels on the bottom to lift it up.



I will be filling it with light weight gifts as this can be kept as a keepsake.

I loved added some baby booties, mittens and hat stickers.
She has picked the name Ava.

Valentine hearts goodies....

Here is my Valentine heart goodies containers for my boys this year. I will be filling them with candy of course. I used my cricut to cut almost everything to make these. Used my Valentines stamp and a heart stamp for the tags. Added hearts on the animals...gotta have the love part.

5 memories with my family...

I wanted to do a layout for Crafting with Cristina...she wanted 5 memories of 2010 or Resolutions for 2011. I chose the memories of 2010. We usually have lots of school pictures with sports or either regular school pictures and I wanted to incorporate those little memories in to this layout. So here are my four boys school pictures from 2010....Then a huge memory was my son graduating from PHCC with his Honors AA degree before graduating High School. What an achievement that was. So this is my end layout using my new Pooh Font cartridge that I purchased for a whopping $9.99 at Michaels this weekend. Hope you like.... I used inking, tweed and 3d foam risers for the clouds.

Have a blessed Monday...My boys are back in school and it is raining out. So doing a little laundry and well...as you can tell I played this morning. Smiles....

Just a little something that I needed to make

A file folder....


Here is a file folder keeper that I usually decorate for the boys...It is a great place to keep all their school stuff organized. Such as their report cards...awards...papers throughout the years that I saved and much much more... So I needed to make another one for Presten. His other one was completely full. So I just simply cut the letters with my cricut cartridges and added some cheat cheat stickers. It turned out cute....but quite simple to do actually.
Off to lunch and then laser tag with the boys....see you soon.
Also...I was bad and bought two more cartridges for $9.99 at a different Michaels today. Which were Disney and Sesame Street. Hmmmmmmm I have heard that Michaels is not going to carry PC any longer maybe that is why all the sales lately. I really wish I could splurge and get a new Expression but no money for that right now. :( Also, is anyone having problems with their gypsy freezing up? Not sure if it is my cricut causing it or not as they are plugged into one another. Hugs...Tammy

Here is a little container that would be great to store stamps in or give as a gift.

I used my new Stampin Up stamps to create the image and sentiment.

I hotglued the ribbon on the cardstock. Entered in challenge over at Crafty Sentiments.

I finally got in a really awesome deal at Michaels craft store....They had cricut cartridges on sale for $9.99 was supposed to start on Sunday but I called and they had them already marked. So I bought 6 of them...Awesome!!! I am beaming ear to ear right now.

My new Penny Black stamp

Look at what I found at Hobby Lobby...Penny Black stamp. I sure like that store~alot. I used some stickers,chipboard,Wild orchid flower on top of a flower brad along with some sewing on this card.

Black and white and simple

Just showing a simple black and white card that I made. I did the background cuts with my cricut...again. Wanted to finish off the inside with black and white too.

Great card to do in a pinch...I like it. Never did one this simple before but I think it turned out.

Looking forward to the weekend....Back to school for the boys on Monday. Then I get to study up for the Para test.

Seeing green....

Just a little card that I had fun making with a Close to my Heart stamp set. I used the cricut to cut the file tag (green flowers)...Used my sewing machine too...Finished off the inside with some beautiful paper. Hope you like my creation....

Have a wonderful day....Today I purchased some laser tag tickets for the family to use this Saturday. Should be a fun time!
