Ohhhhh Woody is just too cute!

Wow...never thought that making the Woody would be so hard. So many small parts to work with. I love the Toy Story cartridge though...The movie was fabulous! Each one that is!

New cartridge birthday card

I kinda spoiled myself last week on a pre black friday Cricut cartridge sale. So here is a card made with the Nifty Fifties cartridge. I just love the images....So made this for my mom's upcoming birthday. The card base was My Minds Eye. Entered into challenge over at Wee memories A little pink. Well I went in for my mammogram yesterday. They said I should be hearing from the health dept. and will most likely need an Ultrasound. They did the pictures and then they wanted more views of my larger cyst the one I did not know I had. So I was pretty down yesterday....and today I am doing better. I am keeping the faith and praying....

Ohhhhhh mom...tag

Alot of things have been happening in my neck of the woods. Unfortunately, some are not so good. I have had some pain in my left breast and went in for a check up. I first had a mammogram set up and it was for preventive...well they turned me away because I had pain.

So, without insurance I am now going through the Health Dept. Golly...you don't know what you have when it is gone- like health insurance. Well, the doctor did a routine check and unfortunately I have a couple of rather large size cysts. I am waiting on a voucher from the Susan B. Komen foundation to have the mammogram. ( QUICK add on note...after I wrote this they called and I am going in Monday for the Mammogram)Then we go from there. I am am not thinking the worst at all....Still the uncertainty bothers me somewhat. So I just keep the faith and pray. Can't wait to figure out what they can do so I won't hurt so bad.

Atleast, all my men in my life are doing great. Getting started on trying to figure out Christmas presents before black friday.

Oh golly, time to run. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Feeling a little Cricut...ity!

So I used my gypsy and George and Basic shapes cartridge and came up with this Cricut bug.
He is now attached to my craft container. Looking way to cute I might add.
I entered this into Fantabulous Cricut....You had to use a circle and green. Hope you like it!

I have been hard at work with Graduation stuff

Here is a layout that I made today with Presten's senior picture. Now all I need is a frame....I guess that means another Hobby Lobby run. Geez....I think I am loving that store! Making my new list already. Haha...

I used my cricut for the cap and words. (locker talk and A Country Life)

I also have been quite busy with making his graduation announcements. Oh my goodness they sure do take alot of time to make. I have 10 made and need about 20 + more. The only thing I have to wait on is the inside Vellum part that I am making. Will not be able to do that part until the end of February.

Christmas gift for Teacher this year

My youngest is going to give this to his teacher this year. I am going to fill it up with goodies. So for now I will just show the idea.

Materials:

Paper Mache container

1 package of Crayola crayons

Design Paper- I used a School Days set.

1 Teacher embellishment

Twine

Glue Gun

ATG Gun

Thats all~ Easy to do.

Cute little Turkey cards

Here are a couple of my Thanksgiving Turkey cards. I actually welded the background image to make it a card. Geez....these cricut cuts are just too cute! I used Create a Critter cartridge for these. I added some glitter and a sentiment stamp. I now have to put up my Thanksgiving message for inside the card.

Many things to be thankful for....such as God's blessings in our lives...Through thick and thin he is always there for us.
